We are interested in flying to Northern Ireland, booking a few days of site seeing, lodging, etc. with time to do some genealogy research in Tyrone. Is there such a thing?
I would like addresses for two genealogy sources in County Tyrone. My grandfather immigrated from there in 1824. His name was John Andrews, his wife was Margaret Carr and they may have had a son David.
John states on his immigration papers, located in Crawford County, PA that he was a weaver in Ireland. Several Andrews families appear to have immigrated from County Tyrone and most of them stated they were weavers. I will be in Omagh on August 12th and would appreciate any help. Thank you.

coming to County Tyrone by: McCallin
Am coming to county Tyrone in May/June and would like to connect with McCallin relatives. Family of Patrick McCallin to US from Durham, England in 1871. Will be researching the family at Ulster American Park and would love any information or tips to better my search.

Ulster American Folk Park by: Anonymous
Can I take a school class to the Ulster American Folk Park and bake using the old utensils and in an old kitchen?

Tyrone Genealogy Research by: Mark McKnight
Tyrone is a nice county to visit. There is plenty of country side to enjoy and also a few attractions.
As for genealogy research - I don't know too much about it. I have, however, found a website that seems to specialise in Irish genealogy and County Tyrone. I hope it helps you with your quest.
