Northern Ireland Flag

The official Northern Ireland Flag is the Union Flag or Union Jack as it is sometimes referred to.

It is made up from the flags of St George, St Patrick and St Andrew which gives it the red, white and blue colouring.

It's a common flag that represents the countries of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Together these countries form the United Kingdom.

The flag that mostly represents Northern Ireland at sporting events and is unique to this country is the flag of the former Government of Northern Ireland 1953-72.

It is made up of a red cross on a white background with a red hand in the middle. It is also known as the "Ulster Banner" or "Red Hand Flag" and was based on the coat of arms of the former Parliament of Northern Ireland.

Another flag that you will see frequently in Northern Ireland is the Irish Tricolour. It is made up also of three colours, which are green, white and orange (gold). This flag is the official flag of the Republic of Ireland.

You can buy all of these flags below. I have included a list of the flags from Amazon US and also Amazon UK.
